I basically bought this book because of the killer first sentence (I mean c'moon, it was perfect)

The beginning started off pretty slowly, and I wasn't really so into the story until the point where Lira and Elian meet. Things got a lot more interesting from there, and I loved the dialogue between those two. All the fun mockery was really my favorite thing about the book.

The plot was pretty good, and I liked how the ending was a bit different from what I'd consider "usual". Lira is a bit unusual main character as well, but I really liked her and found her character funny.

For some part the world-building fell a bit flat, and the ending left me feeling a bit empty, but overall, it was a good read!
