The book had a lot of potential, but i just didn’t like it. It was way to slow like almost through all the book, then suddenly everything happens at once in the end, and it was so rushed!! I got so excited when i saw it was a siren/pirate i was like let’s goo an enemies to lovers slow burn where they try to kill each other super fun!!! but the execution was just not there!!.
The romance was not it as well. I felt like there wasn’t much of a connection or chemistry between Lira and Elian they were so plain and kinda boring. Then they suddenly just fell for each other?? like the romance was so unnecessary, i just didn’t like it.
But hey the writing style was easy, but it did not help me get through the book any faster, the book was not long but it still took me a couple of days for me to finish from how boring it was. honestly super super disappointed and kinda heartbroken.
