I got this book for Christmas and was extremely excited to dive into it as I'd heard it included themes like pirates and sirens. And I was not disappointed at all! I did think the characters were slightly bland, but overall they were put together quite well. The plot was awesome, with a lot of action and great romance, although I was hoping to read more about the romance and it ended up only starting towards the end of the book. Still, enjoyable enemies to lovers for anyone who loves that sort of romance genre. Sometimes I read stand alones that have too many plot holes and would need to be a series or at least have a sequel, but luckily it wasn't the case with "To Kill A Kingdom". I think everything was perfectly fit into one book and although I'd enjoy a sequel, it's not needed. Overall I would like to read more of Alexandra Christo's work very soon.
