I’ve heard very mixed things about this book. A lot of people liked it and a lot of people hated it. I’ve only read the first 30 or so pages but so far it is very interesting. I’m not sure whether it’s meant to be a romance or not but I’ve never quite read anything like this before and I’m finding myself intrigued. I have very high standards for books and picky writing styles but so far it is well written and I’m pleasantly surprised by that. No clumsy dialogue or cringy inner monologues which is what I was expecting if I’m being honest. I think I’m gonna buy this and then do a proper full review of what I think.
The siren character sounds awful but I think that’s the point. I’m excited to find out what she will turn out to be like and how her character develops. I also want to find out if she turns into a human or if this is a romance between a human and siren. Very interesting because I’ve been told that this is a romance.
