Once I saw that this book was recommended for anyone who liked Sarah J Maas and Leigh Bardugo I knew i had to read it.
As a huge fantasy fiction fan I was not disappointed and the fact it is a retelling of The Little Mermaid is just the icing on the cake.
This is not a fluffy happy retelling either these characters are ruthless! Who doesn't like strong lead characters?!
This book is so well written and the characters are well developed that you to find yourself immersed in the whole story. I got such a book hangover from this
story that it actually took me a few days to stop thinking about it and be able to write down my thoughts!
I highly recommend to kill a kingdom it completely surpassed any and all expectations I had, I enjoyed it so much that I actually feel like I
would love to re-read it already!
