Addictive ... but for all the wrong reasons.

This book was weird. So very weird.

I picked it up off my shelf imagining a thriller, and don't get me wrong it was addictive (I couldn't put it down) but the plot was very dry, with many plot points seemingly just thrown in for the sake of it. There were lots of threads that never really got tied up and I felt that much of the story was just pointless.

The book is very heavily focused on twins, but I don't feel there is enough to make you feel close to any of the characters, and a lot of characters appear to have died for absolutely no reason.

I am finishing this book really confused, but like I say I couldn't put it down so it obviously had some pace to it. I think the only way I can describe it is when you eat far more of a meal than you actually wanted, just because it was there and you wanted to get it finished only to get to the end and wonder why you didn't stop hours ago!
