I've never read Swedish Crime before, but if it's always like this, clearly I'm missing out!
Jens Lapidus draws you in slowly, but once he's got your attention... Well, there's no getting away: I very much need to know what is in that box! ;)
It's also pretty cool in how he focusses on two sets of people- it's not just a case of a criminal being seen through the eyes of a hardened detective. This is real and somehow that makes it exceptionally gripping.
