The book felt quite long to read, the storyline was convoluted and didn’t always feel that logical or easy to follow.
The characters weren’t bad. I wouldn’t call any of them especially likeable (other than the guy who worked for Emilie who seemed to be the hero of the book but didn’t get enough credit!) However, I equally didn't hate them.
I liked the setting of Stockholm and the descriptions of the different districts and areas around there.
I think the comparisons to Stieg Larsson/Jo Nesbo aren’t exactly accurate. And as a fan of both of these authors, I felt this was a bit of a stretch.
I wouldn’t recommend it to others but I equally wouldn’t say avoid it. That is why I would say it was pretty average.
