I really enjoyed the first few chapters of the book, it’s well written (and translated) with great detail however I found it harder to follow after that due to the number of characters and threads running through it. I did enjoy it overall and it was worth persevering to see how it all came together however there were a few occasions I found myself wondering how a character found themselves in that situation. I think if I had read Stockholm Delete some of this book and characters might have been a little clearer as whilst some background knowledge was provided the characters are very complex, that said it’s fine to read as a stand-alone. I believe it sits better within the crime genre than thriller however if you’re a fine of either you shouldn’t be disappointed.
