The cover and title grabbed my attention first, colourful and "Toxic" almost screams "Why?". So it is no wonder why people would pick this book up. Why is it toxic? Why is there a woman enjoying herself on the front- yet- toxic? Without reading the back of the book; it would catch my attention.
Reading the first couple of pages, I could relate with the excitement of going on holiday!
I, being a girl myself, have a group of friends that are mostly male, so I could really relate with how she felt about going on holiday with them- I would be the same! The grotesque behaviour is something they would participate in.
Closer to holidays, this would definitely be a book I wouldn't mind reading on the plane or by the pool. Summer read!
