This sounds more like slow torture than a holiday. Then again I never really got the whole "go abroad, get completely bladdered every night, suffer in the sun with a hangover all day and then repeat for 10 or 14 days" thing and this is exactly the type of holiday that is described here. More or less immediately that turns me into Judgey McJudgeson about the characters and their behaviour.

To be fair we don't learn too much about them from the First Impression where it is all about the booze and the sun and the casual hook ups. The writing itself is good and draws you along at a quick pace and with a fair amount of wit. The scene has been well set and it does leave you at a place where you are intrigued to find out what happens next.
