I have to admit the idea of going on holiday as the only girl amongst a group of boozing teenage lads sounds like my idea of hell but it does really make for an intriguing premise. Would you be comfortable living alone with five lads in a foreign country, going out drinking with them or are you putting yourself at risk. You may have known them for years but would you really trust them.
The cover makes it seem like a fun and relaxing break will be had but even from the first few pages it's clear that main character Hope is a little uncomfortable as the sole girl in the group.
I'm really enjoying the writing so far and love how already there's a real sense of who each of the characters are and how vulnerable Hope's made herself. There's something a little sinister beneath the drinking and the games and I've already started guessing where the story will go. I can't wait to read more.
