I feel left on the edge of something about to happen. The start of Toxic is a relatable situaton, friends on holiday with a unusual friendship-ex dynamic going on. Theses friends were fun to read about but I can't help but have the sense that there is so much more to unpeel from these characters. From the synopsis, I know there is an event coming and I am dying to read this and the ensuing repercussions.
