A bit too generic

I really wanted to like this, but it was just too predictable and stereotypical for me I'm afraid.

I'm in my 20s and when I read the first look it took me back to my 18 year old self going on my first friends holiday to Magaluf. Remembering how hilariously eventful it was, I dived right into the book when it arrived. I couldn't help but be really disappointed though. For the first two thirds of the story, the group of friends keep referring to something terrible that happened, which actually turned out to be extremely unexciting and way too built up. The holiday itself was very dull and a bit too similar to the inbetweeners movie but without the laughs.

In the final third of the book the plot picked up a bit which was good, as I was at the point of giving up on the story by then. The ending was a bit out of the blue and seemed to flit to a totally different storyline altogether.

Overall really not for me. I received this book in exchange for an honest review but sadly I just really didn't think much of it. Hope it's more to someone else's suiting.
