I believe the book showed a great insight into what a lot of teenagers nowadays experience - guilt, anger and even depression. Toxic showed three elements to the book, first showing Hopes story, then Logans and finally Daisy's. However, although the book had an interesting storyline and had many different characters I think it could have had a more eventful storyline - this is the contributing factor to he three star rating. Nicki Cloke really gave a good insight into what the party life is like but also a warning to teenagers about how you must be careful when you've had a few drinks. Furthermore the author showed a new side to relationships between the characters and it expressed how people can change as they grow up.
