I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but it really is eye catching and caught my attention on the Readers First Website. Upon reading the First Impressions, I found myself wanting to purchase the book. Hope is one of the 'lads', despite being a girl, and is relatable to the young adult at College - who this book is aimed at. The characters each have a unique personality - Zeke the Dad, Logan the Ex, Nate the cute boy to name a few, which engages the reader to point where I feel like I'm on holiday. It's not overly descriptive, but just enough to use your imagination. I have many theories about how this story will progress, and that is what I look for in a story - a story which keeps me guessing and makes me think.
