This book is focused on a group of young adults, doing the classic “lads” holiday abroad with the exception of a girl called Hope, who, in the minds of the lads is one of the lads. The storyline sounds brilliant, it’s very modern. The language used within the story is also very modern, such as the word “bants”.
This book is aimed at the younger generation, I feel that if a slightly older person was to read this book, they might not understand some of the slang words used.

The story flows nicely, there’s always something going on, so not much in the way of “story slumps”.

The main character in the story is Hope, who is holidaying with her lad friends, including her ex boyfriend Logan. What could possibly go wrong?!
Hope is very relatable, especially to younger generations, there’s feelings there that she feels that many young girls can agree with.
The write has definitely jumped into the mind of a teenager and can accurately describe how modern day teenagers behave.
I feel that all young people should read Nicci Cloke books, and see the danger in many scenarios that seem harmless.
