Everything about Trenton Makes, is making me want to read this damn book. The cover is unique and has the vibe of those modern classics with the simple but intriguing covers. I am digging the kind of pop art feel with the three simple, statement colours and dotted effect. It is something I would love to show off on my shelf.
The synopsis has me wondering about this past crime of his. Why he needs to hide from it and create a whole new life. Why he needs to commit even more crimes to achieve his redemption. SO MUCH!!
This intrigue continued in the text itself. I wanna know why he behaves how he does and why the smallest slip up that may not even have blown his cover, causes him to flee in his fear.
I loved the writing style, it's not the kind of style I usually enjoy but for some reason it drew me in and did not let me go. I really want to read on to experience more of Koelb's writing and to find out what Abe's secrets are!
