Strangely really enjoyed this book. This is a story about a woman who accidentally kills her husband, disposes of the body and then assumes his identity. The "new" Abe Kunstler sets on a mission to live the life that has been lost by tricking a woman into a married relationship with him and also conceiving a child. By doing achieving all this things, Abe believes that he has avenged her husbands death. I'm not sure what it is about this book but it was extremely moreish, Abe's deceit and lies are literally hovering beneath his/her skin which makes him/her very paranoid, and ultimately is the reason for his/her demise. I really liked this book, told through his/her eyes and the eyes of the son. Dark and gripping in places, sad and depressing in others, you feel you are really part of the story line, sucked into the false pretense, and drained from having to keep a huge lie going for years. A definite must read!
