I do not like leaving bad reviews. I feel bad for doing so but I guess this is the point of this website.
It is not very often I don’t finish a book. In all of the years I have been reading (my entire life), I have only ever not finished two books. Until now.
The blurb sounded good. I really thought I would like it. I started reading it and just didn’t get drawn in. I did not feel invested (good or badly) about the characters and found I did not really care what happened.
The book was not written badly as such. It just wasn’t for me. Reading other reviews, it starts jumping back and forward. I didn’t get that far unfortunately.
I am sure some people will love this. We all have different tastes so please do not let my review put you off. I always make my own opinion. It’s just this time, it was not a positive one.
