I picked up this book because of the cover - it looks sinister and intriguing, and after reading the blurb I though it would be worth the read. However, after the first couple of chapter I found that it started to go downhill. In my opinion the things that happened were a bit too obvious. I don't want to give spoilers but I found myself figuring out what was going to happen pretty soon which obviously didn't make for a great reading experience.
I must admit, I didn't finish this.... I think I stopped at around the half way point because it just wasn't keeping my attention - not to be harsh, but it felt like a chore to read. So maybe it just dipped in the middle and has a fantastic ending, it just didn't work for me.
