After World War II a woman kills her husband and takes on his identity and his job at a factory. Living his life she meets a drunk dancer who she pairs up with. Throughout the book it jumps about letting you know she is still hiding her identity from the world.

I rarely do not finish a book. I like to give every book a fair chance. When I read the first impression it sounded very intriguing and I was super stoked to read it. It's not the story that's bad (it's VERY interesting!) The only thing that really put me off was the writing style which made it very hard to keep up with the story at times. I felt that sometimes the characters were not developed enough but again, I could live with that as I have a very good imagination so I could build my own reflection of them up.

I think the thing that got to me the most was all the jumping back and forth in the book which confused me a lot and made me lose track of the story sometimes. It's something I've always struggled with so I don't think it's typically down to the author himself. I would still recommend what I did read of the book. Don't write this book off yet!
