This book does not leave the reader waiting. Katheryn leaves the baby with Ellen and we are drawn into the mystery immediately. It's a strange position for the character to be in. How do you tell the police the baby you are holding isn't yours and you just sort of ended up with her. How do you decide what to do in that situation.
