What would you do if you were on a train and a mother asked if you could hold her baby for just a minute while she sorted herself out? Of course you would say yes.
And what would you do if the baby smiled at you with those big bright blue eyes, and the mother said she would need to pick a call and will only be a minute? Of course, you would say, not a problem.
But what would you do if the mother got off the train and the next station leaving you with her baby? And what if, while walking down the platform, she turned, looked at you at the train window, and mouthed sorry? What would you do then?
This is the gripping story of Trust Me. I read the first four chapters in a whole breath. I couldn’t take my eyes off the page and I hoped the extract was a little longer.
Logan is able to engage the reader since the very first line and takes you on a journey that you will not forget. I was captured by the protagonist point of view despite being a great deal different from me.
