This was a great start to an intriguing story as we are immediately drawn into the emotional turmoil going on in the mind of the main character Ellen. We are gradually led into the drama when another character Kathryn appears with a baby, which is something emotionally painful for Ellen. I found I was really intrigued by the little tell signs of mystery such as the uncomfortableness and fear that Kathryn is experiencing concluding in her leaving the train.Also the mystery passenger that is taking a picture of Ellen who doesn’t seem to quite belong there. All raising questions which keeps reading draws you more and more into the story.
