Wow what a tense opening!
First of all, I felt for Ellen so much, it’s always assumed that women will have children and no one thinks twice to ask about it but it can be so painful for those not able to have them. Her pain felt very believable and real.
Next the baby. I cannot imagine how it must feel to believe that the only way to keep your little one safe is to give them to a stranger. You have to be absolutely desperate and I’m eager to know why.
This was a great start with enough drama to make me want to find out what will happen next...
