Trust No-one
Ellen is on a train, sitting opposite a young mother and baby and she sees the mother is struggling to hold the baby as well as make a phone call, so she decides to help by holding the baby.
Ten minutes pass and the train pulls into a station and she sees the mother rushing down the platform and away.
In the baby's bag is a scrawled note asking for the baby, Mia, to be protected and to trust neither the police or anyone.
I've read several T M Logan books and this promises to be as good as all his others,
I shall look forward to reading this one.
