The sample chapters of this book are really well written. Logan is able to captivate his audience with the easy flow of his writing. There is no over descriptive writing which I have seen in other books, where you forget what they were describing in the first place. Instead Logan makes a perfect concoction of suspense, description and flow which are all detrimental to the flow of the book. Within a couple of pages the audience feels sympathy for Ellen and are immediately wondering what is happening with the mother of the child and what would make her give her child to a stranger? It speaks to some primal part of women and their need to protect their young, what happened for a mother to trust a stranger above the police? What is Ellen going to say to her friends and family about the arrival of this child? Who is going to come looking for Mia?

Really looking forward to the release of this book, it has the set up to allow for a good psychological thriller.
