I don’t want to reveal too much about the plot as I really do think it will ruin the surprise elements (because there’s a lot). You know that confusion you get when you read a thriller and you’re (pathetically) trying to figure it out? Me reading this book! I did not expect that ending until a split second before it happened… it’s so clever!

The fact that I read this over 12 hours really attests to how absorbing the plot is. It gets straight into the action, so I was fully invested in the story about a page in. The prose is excellent: it captured and maintained my interest throughout. For a thriller, it did it’s job…and then some. There was tension, twists and thrills! It’s a real page turner.

I found Ellen to be a very likeable and personable protagonist. I also really enjoyed the multiple points-of-view. Logan did a very good job in differentiating between the different characters so it was very easy to navigate. But with each changing perspective, there was a little cliff-hanger which made the book so addictive!
