When the book finally arrived, I tore open the packaging and began reading it immediately. I could not put it down, and managed to finish it in a day. It was absolutely amazing. I especially loved the changes of perspective and the surprise ending- several moments when I held my breath in anticipation of what was coming in the next chapter. As I said in my initial review of the preview, it really was intoxicating and addictive. The cover was bold and really did make me want to open and read this book. The writing was simply excellent, making me feel for the characters when the author intended the readers to. I also think that the quotation from Mary Wollstonecraft really resonated with me as I swiftly sailed through this novel. It was a truly a magnificent novel, written superbly, with thoughtfulness and care. If I saw another novel by the same author, I would definitely buy it. Thank you for giving me the chance to read this absolute masterpiece.
