I received this book as an ARC, I’ve already read some of TM Logan’s work and he’s a very good mystery thriller author. He always leads you down a windy road where you’re second guessing who is actually doing what. I know to expect a twist but sometimes I never see it coming.
I think with Trust Me, the concept was brilliant. A woman hands a baby over to a complete stranger and then gets off the train, hoping the stranger will take care of the baby.
All arrows point to nearly everyone. Every person we come across has something to do with the story and as the reader, we become suspicious of everyone who isn’t our protagonist.
Then comes the twist. Sometimes it’s a twist we don’t see coming and sometimes it’s a twist that makes everything make complete sense.
I somehow knew a twist was coming, surely it would be too easy if the man she thought was behind everything was the man who was behind everything? That wouldn’t make for good thriller twist writing!
