After reading The Holiday I was very interested in T.M.Logan's latest book Trust Me. It is a fast paced thriller with lots of twists and turns along the way. Ellen is at a very low point in her life. On the train home from a doctor's appointment confirming that she is unable to have children she learns that her husband's new partner is pregnant. A few minutes later her life is changed completely when a young woman asks her to hold her baby while she makes a phone call. She is then horrified to see her leave the train. In the baby's bag she finds a note asking her to protect Mia but to trust no one not even the police. Ellen is filled with conflicting emotions. She knows she should go to the police but can they be trusted and she is also loving the close contact with the baby and forms a very strong bond with her. Ellen finds strengths she didn't know she had as she fights to protect a child she barely knows.
