I really enjoyed reading "Trust Me". From the first few pages I was hooked. Why would someone leave their baby with a stranger on a train? This book certainly kept me guessing! The story is about Ellen who has been unable to have children and has separated from her husband. One day she is handed a baby on a train by a lady who then disappears leaving a note telling Ellen to look after baby Mia and not trust anyone. Ellen must decide what is the best thing to do to keep Mia safe as she tries to work out who she can trust. The book is fast paced and action packed, in fact at first I thought it was a bit too full on but soon settled in to enjoying it. What is impressive is that along with the action, there is an incredibly sensitive side with surprisingly accurate descriptions of the sadness and despair of unwanted childlessness. From reading the blurb and first few pages I had no idea where the story was going and was really surprised by how it all panned out!
