T M Logan is one of my favourite authors but sadly this is my least favourite book of his. I think it’s partly my fault and the fact that I don’t like books about missing children and a big chunk of this book is about a baby going missing and then her life being feared. Something inside me usually avoids these type of books and when I do force myself to read them something in my sub conscience tells myself not to enjoy it. However, I thought that T M Logan may sway me as he is such a fantastic writer and whilst I still enjoyed his writing style and I did keep wanting to read on I couldn’t shift the feeling of unease I had throughout because of the baby. That being said I loved the characterisation of the main character and her passion and determination to fight for what’s right. I also enjoyed the twist at the end about the babies father (I don’t want to say too much or it will give the twist away).

A good read and i expect most people will love it. It’s just my own reluctance about the subject. That being said the main subject aside it’s still a book that you don’t want to put down until you’ve finished it due to the excitement and suspense.
