I enjoy T.M. Logan books, so was delighted to read the latest release from this thriller and suspense writer: Trust Me. I read a sample of the opening a while back and it was really frustrating not to be able to keep on reading. So, it was great to finally have the completed copy. This is one of those books that truly keeps you turning the pages.
It's difficult to write about a book like Trust Me, as you don't want to give anything away. Logan is a very adept storyteller and you often forget you are reading as the writing seamlessly pulls you in. The opening is clever and the narrative hook of a split second decision that will impact immensely is really clever. The central question that drives the narrative from the opening is why a mother would 'give' her baby to a complete stranger - what made her walk away. The pace is swift and the emotions high as the dangers and puzzles begin to unfold. A recommended read from me!
