A solid 4 stars for this book.. I don’t want to say too much about the plot because it’s got so many twists and turns.
The first couple of chapters of the book are so gripping that you just have to read the rest.
The story is fast paced and always turning and I personally don’t think that there are too many characters that you can’t keep up.
I had a feeling that the ending would either be the ending or they would fall in love and get married (I’ve been reading too many romance novels and watching too much Netflix).
Ellen is a well flushed out character and her friendship with Tara seems real and solid.
Hearing the story about her time in war was very touching as I am sure things like that have happened in real life.
All in all I really enjoyed this book and would happily pass it on to others to enjoy as well.
