I loved the style of writing and the pace that maintained the tension throughout. Definitely a good read even for those who don't usually read and are looking to get back into it, as this is a very engaging book. This is one of my favourite genres and something I would definitely recommend. This is also the first book I have read that has been written by this author, and it has done a pretty good job in making me want to explore more of the author's work. One of my favourite things about this book was the very beginning - even from the opening lines I was hooked on to carry on reading. The short sentences and beginning of a story midway through an event is an interesting path to take and was done really well as a tool of introducing the protagonist. Overall, although not perfect, this was still an absolutely great read and I would for sure recommend this book for others to read.
