I have just finished reading Trust Me which, like the rest of T M Logan’s books, had a breathtaking climax.
Logan has managed to write this story very convincingly from the viewpoint of Ellen Devlin, a forty year old, ex Navy officer, whose greatest wish is to have a baby. After two unsuccessful attempts at IVF, and recently separated from her husband, she cannot believe it when a stranger leaves her holding her baby whilst she leaves the train they are travelling on. The story becomes a bit convoluted and lost its credibility for me in parts, hence only awarding it 4 stars, but it picks up again at the end. I must admit that I did guess who the ‘baddy’ was before it was revealed.
Another good story which will be enjoyed by both male and female readers. Not his best book to date in my opinion but I am a big fan of T M Logan’s previous books so my expectations are perhaps set too high.
