This book was really gripping and tense, and very well written, it centred around a woman called Ellen and she is thrown into a mystery when a young woman hands over a baby to her. The story is full of twists and turns and Ellen has to decide who to trust and who not to trust as she tries to find out the truth about why she was handed the baby and what else is going on. All she has to go on is a note saying protect mia, don't trust the police, don't trust anyone. So what should she do? She ends up getting too involved and gets herself mixed up in dangerous situations trying to find clues as to why the baby is so special and why she needs protecting and who from? Just as you think you know who and why, there is another twist to the story and it gets you wondering again.
This story is gripping right until the end, and the ending is quite a shock when you discover all the truths.
