Before receiving this book, I had read the preview which included the first 4 chapters and this was my first impression of the book:
I have read other books by T.M Logan which I have thoroughly enjoyed so I had high expectations for this. And oh my god did it meet those expectations! I was instantly gripped. What happens next? What happens to Mia? Does Ellen keep her? Why did Kathryn leave her? And who is the skinny man - does he have an important role or is he a distraction? I need to know!
Having now read the full book, this is my full review:
From the first impression, I had an idea in my head on where the story would go. However it went down a completely unexpected route that I hadn’t imagined. It was gripping and intense - everything you want from a thriller. I did feel it went a bit eh during the middle - I couldn’t really figure out what was going on.
As soon as the plot twist was revealed, I literally sat open mouthed in shock. It completely drew me back in. I never would’ve guessed! It was always pointing towards different scenarios but wow, that was completely unexpected. I am in shock! I am mind-blown! me > 🤯 I had to take a moment to process what i’d just read!
Absolutely fantastic book, love love loved it - especially the unexpected plot twist!!
