Readers First introduced me to this author through her wonderful Museum of Lost Things and I really look forward to reading her newest book. I love historical fiction, especially those linking people from the present day with those from the past. The idea of a modern-day archivist trying to discover the life of a woman from a past generation is a wonderful premise to this book and I can't wait to learn more about these two women in Rome. Moreover, the cover of the book has a simple elegance and would look wonderful on any bookshelf.
