The author has clearly done her research into the art world and also that of archives, but I found the opening rather unbelievable and the conversation quite stilted in places. Having said that, once I got to chapter 2 I became much more engaged in the story and am finding it quite intriguing. The character of lottie's husband is rather mysterious and the fact that she marries him without knowing his full background is a bit stereotypical, but I am hoping I will be surprised by the storyline.
