The consequences of World War II are never really discussed when it comes to paintings, sculptures and art in general. Thye might not be deemed crucial, as they don't provide sustenance to us, but they tell our history, and therefore are valuable.
I was born and raised in Italy, and in school, they don't really teach you this - not even in art - so I am curious to read this book and check out the story.
There is so much history yet to be discovered or valued, and I am happy someone has looked into it and written a book.
