This seems like an interesting read but I don’t know if it’s for me. The opening chapter set in 1977 seemed pretty dark, I can get the hints of the affair already from this chapter and there is a lot of biblical jargon that I wasn’t a fan of. The second chapter of the main storyline seemed more up my alley but I don’t think I would be a fan of the dual narrative. That said, I really liked the cover of the book!
