So my very initial impression from the cover alone was that this isn't really the kind of book I would read. However, having read the blurb and a bit more about the author's experience, I'm actually quite keen to get stuck in. I quite like books were people's lives run parallel and where modern day characters almost reach back through time to learn about others. I'm looking forward to this one.
