After reading first impressions it looks a really interesting story.

Interesting to see if secrets between two friends are any different in today's life than the life's years ago
This sounds absolutely perfect - I love the setting as Rome is one of my favourite cities and the descriptions of the umber buildings took me right there. To me I am curious about the the dual storyline and definitely need to find how the two strands meet.
The description of the killings of Brits/Americans in Italy also caught my attention - I want to know more and see how it joins the 1977 story. The cover for this book is beautiful - I'd 100% pick this up in a bookshop and just the Coliseum would sell it to me! Rome is wonderful. Has a good vibe going on with the colours.
