The writing style might take some getting used to, but that's to be expected as this isn't my usual read.
The plot seems like it would be interesting, but I wouldn't be able to give a proper verdict until I've read the entire book: the historical side of discovering someone's life sounds fascinating, but I'm worried it'll turn into a sob story due to the 'tragic love story'...
