What I liked about this straight away is the central character Lottie who is funny, and who feels some great adventures. You feel instantly on her side, particularly in her initial feelings towards Rome, though you can also sense there is something else going on there, and I'm itching to find out how things will develop. I’m gripped! Also a beautiful cover.
