I have enjoyed a few books that fall under the historical fiction - some which I had more knowledge of and others where I knew next to nothing. For me its interesting to learn about historical events that were not covered in my own education and also to gain a new perspective on topics that were covered.
I would have liked more of a clue or suggestion as to why Lottie was so interested in Nina's life? For me to has not been made clear enough. From the first impression I also have the feeling that this would be a slow read and one that I would probably unfortunately DNF
