What a start to the story!
The prologue definitely doesn't leave much to the imagination! I'm used to reading similar genres such as Jackie Collins, but this is on a different level! Not for the faint hearted that's for sure.
After setting the scene in the prologue the reader is then taken back to a previous time of six months earlier, where I'm guessing the second of the trilogy books ended. I've not read any of the other books, but the way this story follows on, it gives you enough of the background to get you up to speed.
My first impressions are that I definitely want to read more, I like the action and suspense. I like that you empathize with both the good and bad guys, and I would like to also read the previous two as they sound equally as interesting. This is not normally the style of book I would read, but I've definitely been converted!
